I am so excited to go on this new adventure! In this post I’ll be talking about what this trip is, why I am going, and a few ways to support me.

In the spring, I will be going on the World Race: Semesters mission trip! At the end of January I will be heading to Africa for three months. I will be traveling to three different countries, spending one month in each. On this mission trip a few focusses include: children’s ministry, orphan care, evangelism, community development and so much more!

Now you know more about what this trip is, I want to answer why.

Why am I going on this trip?

There are so many reasons, but I’m going to narrow it down to two. The two main reasons are to serve and to grow. I want to serve God in all I do and I want to be His hands and feet. I want to serve Him with all I’ve got, and going on this trip will give me many opportunities to serve in new ways and in new places!

Along with serving, I want to grow. I constantly want to grow as a person, in my faith, and most importantly in my relationship with Jesus. I know there will be countless opportunities here from fundraising, prepping for launch and getting to know my team all the way to my time on the field, living in a biblical community and getting to know new places and cultures! There is so much potential for growth and I am so looking forward to all of it–even the hard stuff!

I know God will be moving in amazing ways and I am saying here I am God, send me!

I hope this post gives you a look into what I’ll be doing on the trip, my heart to serve,  and my desire grow closer to the Lord!

If you are interested in supporting me on this journey here are a few ways you can help:
